Volume 1...The Colby Fire was started by an illegal campfire at dawn during a brief Santa Ana wind condition in January. Six houses were lost during the first hour of the fire. When the wind relaxed at mid day the forward progress of the fire was stopped by aircraft. A great air show with the Canadian Super Scoopers. There is a 3rd alarm in a large bakery, and another 3rd alarm in a strip mall featuring the Burbank and Glendale Fire Depts.
Volume 2...The LAFD has a pallet yard fire that spreads to a large commercial, followed by a 2nd alarm in Burbank at an apartment house and finishes with a 4th alarm in San Gabriel in two adjacent commercial buildings.
