Seems the state officials are in denial about grass carp invading & potentially reproducing in the Suwannee river & other state streams. I didn't even learn about this until about a month or so ago, and I'm no stranger to the Suwannee, since early 2021.

(Recorded a couple weeks ago before publishing this. The whole unedited podcast, which had far too many unrelated details before getting into the main topic was over 40 minutes long, and I'd had a Very long exhausting day of kayaking the day prior and finished this around 10:30 pm (late for me, most nights) so that's why I sound so tired at times in this. Originally only recorded for personal playback (but I knew there was potential for publicly releasing this), idk listening to factual stuff at work sometimes helps me to focus lol)
