On October 5, 2024, NJ Transit hosted an event at the Meadowlands Maintainence Complex named "Family Day" which has a lot of displayed locomotives, activities, and more. But this year, they displayed their newly released heritage unit being GP40PH-2B 4208, in Conrail livery, right next to NJT 4101, and 4210.

There was also many free things at the event, such as food, bags, bracelets, and more. There was also a spooky decorated car, which had scary decorations and people with costumes inside to give a spook in a comet coach. There was too, a wild west train ride, and MMC tours around the facility. Not to mention there was a Multilevel cabcar that you could access inside.

Finally, there were a couple of other things you could access, such as ALP-45A 4550's cab, and a TGIV's interior. Other things that were at the event were activities for kids, Atlas model trains, and a multilevel III truck concept.

This even was very exciting and entertaining for lots of people, I truly enjoyed having the oppertunity to see NJT 4208 in Conrail paint, and being able to see NJT 4120 in it's restored phase, including being able to enter locomotives, and being able to talk to some great people.
