The Dandelion - Taraxacum officinale 🌻 is a very important plant for insects rich in nectar to feed or to stock up, and in bright orange protein pollen

🌻 The flower is actually made up of many flowers, in fact like the other flowers belonging to the Asteraceae or Composite family, they are inflorescences peeking out
Each small flower is composed of a bifid stigma (note the orange tips which divide into two at the top and are more or less rolled up) and 5 anthers

🐝 The bees dive inside the flower by dipping their heads completely
From the dandelion the bees also obtain a precious honey

🦋 The butterflies bring out the long spirit with which they arrive at the nectar and elegantly pass from point to point

🌻 Bees, hoverflies and butterflies are just some of the insects that feed on the flower, you just need to sit in a grass full of dandelions and observe, in no time you discover a world and I always invite you to make time for it!

Once again I emphasize the importance of wild meadows; unfortunately a few days after shooting, in that wonderful meadow I found the desert, all razed to the ground: we need a little more information and awareness 🦋🐝💚🌾
