before assemble the greenhouse, pls see the following assemble tips for reference.
because the panel is made of Polycarbonate which is Uv protection and durability but very light, the greenhouse kit can withstand normal wind speed of 35mph without know and do following assemble tips
1: before assemble the greenhouse, you can consider put it near the house which can block some of the wind and convenient to connect water and electricity to your home
2: A good foundation is vital. Either level the ground for the base, or you can make a foundation from a concrete slab or a wooden deck. getting a load of gravel because I knew it would be high humidity and wet due to all the watering of the plants. you'd better use concrete in the corners, this I think is a must be done process especially if you get very windy days or a bad strong storm.
3: WD-40 works wonders for sliding the panes in. pls caulke all the crevices on this greenhouse.
4: you can add some self tapping sheet metal screws that have a rubber washer on them to the pc panels which is very lighter but better than glass. or you can plan on staking it down combined with strapping steel cable/anchor kit over the top to protect against winds over 56mph
5: you can silicone around the bottom of the roof panels by the gutters so no water would bypass the gutter and run behind it.
6: There is something you can do to keep the windows from rattling and possibly coming loose in a thunderstorm. you can duct taped the perimeters of each twin wall panel, both inside and outside. Not only does it act as a caulking(waterproofing it), it is also very quiet to avoid making the rattling sound.
7: when you leave the greenhouse, Just make sure to keep the door closed and the vent open during windy days because it will blow a panel out if the doors not closed. I believe it's made to withstand wind blowing against the panels the door open creates a vacuum and blows out the first panel close to the door.
