Tshelane is an all round creative powerhouse - she works in the communications field, is a creative writer, podcast creator and casting director of an independent film company. I love speaking to T as much like myself and other women with ADHD, we are people with many interests and talents - T comes across as someone who often has a few things on the go at one time too.

After her ADHD diagnosis at the age of 25, she now calls people out on the negative connotations that people associate to the symptoms she has due to ADHD, which she defines as ableism.

Her management strategies are exercise - having so much energy to burn - which helps her tremendously, nurturing herself with food and drinks, connecting with family and friends, not dealing with things by herself. She also does meditation and yoga. She also takes self care days, and finding new ways to deal with sensitivity to rejection through more open communication to people who may misunderstand otherwise. Since younger days, she did plenty of writing, which has developed into a love for creative writing.

T urges people who may not want to get diagnosed to challenge their internal self on why that is and to keep searching for answers.
