VBB didn't have turn signals, but I really like turn signals, so I add them to my pre-1974 bikes. The tricky part was that I didn't have a good way to install a switch on the gear shift side of the headset, so I needed to put them on the throttle side.

I converted the off-pilot-headlight switch with a turn signal switch, then wired it up. It wasn't as easy as that makes it sound, but it worked out just fine.
