Sometimes called the Spider Web stitch, try the Mosaic Stitch. It’s a spiralling Blanket Stitch that creates a beautiful mosaic-like effect. First I show the thread and needles I use in Slow Stitching, then I add Patchwork to the background and jump right in to How to create the Spiral Mosaic around the Fox. Stay until the end to see the completed panel of my jean jacket complete with 3 slow stitch patches. It’s an ongoing project of repair, embellishment and visible mending on my vintage jean jacket.
