Hey y'all!!

Today, I want to talk to y'all about something that's very close to my heart. This is something that has impacted several members of my family, and it's something that I work towards preventing for myself and Alan every day- taking a fall.

Falls may sound like such a simple and innocent thing, but they can have significant long-term effects that impact your physical, mental, and emotional health.

Being proactive and working towards preventing falls is one of the most important things you can do to help overcome this risk. Making simple adjustments such as removing clutter from your walkways, wearing comfortable and well-fitting shoes, and affixing rugs with non-slip backing and corner tape can really lower your risk of falling.

As a nurse and a mother, I have spent my life helping others and trying to prevent any possible harm. If I am able to help even one of you with this information, it would mean the world to me.

I appreciate y'all so much! Take care of yourself, and thank you for joining me today!
