We traveled to Banff, Alberta, Canada for a vacation which included a four day backpacking trip in the Sawback Range. We started out from Norquay Ski Resort heading up towards Mystic Valley Camp for the first night. The second day took us up over Mystic Pass to Luellen Lake Camp. This lake by far was the most beautiful. The third day was our big day, a 30k+ day (21 miles) over Badger Pass to Sawback Lake Camp. We thought the camp would be at Sawback lake similar to Luellen but we had our hopes dashed, as the camp ended up being about a mile short of the lake. Due to timing and fatigue, we weren't able to get out to the lake on our last day.

Besides the bit of drizzle all day on the first day, we were blessed with wonderful weather and truly enjoyed our time in the Canadian Rockies!
