Ryuichi Sakamoto's seventh solo album "NEO GEO" was released in 1987, co-produced with Bill Laswell for his first worldwide release.
It is a multicultural and unique album, his sounds blend in with organic and ethnic musical elements such as Okinawan music and Balinese traditional music.
The album was released in over 20 countries worldwide and became a milestone in his solo career.
