StoryBoard supports engaged narratives through partnerships with cultural organisations, residencies, media experts and festivals to build capacity and provide funding.

MS. MERCY ALEXANDER
Mercy is an activist who comes with vast experience of mobilising and empowering fishing communities. She has been part of many historical fisherwomen struggles. She was the Coordinator of Sakhi for 10 years and serves as the treasurer now.

MS. NALINI NAYAK
Nalini Nayak is an activist, feminist and trade unionist. She has been involved with coastal communities and their issues for over three decades, associated with Protsahan Trivandrum, Mitraniketan Vagamon and the Self-Employed Women's Association.
Nayak is a founder member of the International Collective in Support of Fishworkers, where she has taken the initiative to collectively evolve a feminist perspective in fisheries. She is at present, the general secretary of the Self-Employed Women's Association, Kerala, of which she was a joint founder.

The JANAL Lecture Series presented by Kerala Museum excavates the rich tapestry of Kerala's past, providing a nuanced understanding of its evolution and the interconnectedness between its cultural heritage, societal dynamics, political developments, and environmental transformations.
Through its interactive design, these sessions bring together academicians, research scholars, students and history enthusiasts and make academic and learned pursuits on history accessible to all.

About the Archive:
Venturing beyond the physical confines of the museum, the JANAL Archive is the Kerala Museum's digital canvas for the history of Kerala. JANAL (meaning 'window' in Malayalam) seeks to craft engaging digital exhibitions drawing from historical archives, oral narratives, and tangible artefacts, weaving together the rich tapestry of Kerala's vibrant past.
Produced in Kochi, Kerala, by the Madhavan Nayar Foundation in partnership with the Geojit Foundation, the archive comprises articles, exhibitions and the JANAL Talks lecture series aim to foster a deeper understanding of Kerala's plural and interconnected histories.
