Hi guys. Today, Gene and I were able to getc2 October Glory maple trees planted that we purchased from Fast Growing Trees (link below). We're planting them on how it works for us with our hard clay soil and a very heavy population of gophers and voles. We do use chicken wire in the holes, which can be controversial, but it will break down and prevent the critters from girdling the tree. We do mix in some purchased soil about 50/50 just to get them off to a good start.
