This area burned last year but is restoring itself. Lots of trails in Annadel have boulders/large rocks to deal with. New to me, but I found that keeping the speed up, getting the front wheel on top of them, and then powering through helping the rear wheel up worked best. Downhill wasn't as hard. Uphill was though, since a rock can stop you, then it's over. It's important to stay in a gear that can overcome that, but not too easy a gear that you can't develop some momentum. Sometimes hopping the front wheel to the side where you want it was fastest going uphill. In either direction, keeping the CG aft was best.
