Conditions lined up quite nicely for the 2019 Ling Cod opener in Westport, WA. Was a fun day on the rocks!
I was using 1 oz jig heads with 6 inch Gulp Curly tail grubs. I used a mix of scents, including: sand shrimp, anise, sardine, herring and crayfish.
Caught 2 lings at high slack tide. Released one that was very small and kept the other for the frying pan. Fish tacos!!!
