“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” [1 John 4:18]

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. [2 Timothy 1:7]

What do we learn from these verses? God’s will for you is to experience peace, love, power, and a sound mind. Not only that, He wants you to have the mind of Christ, a mind filled with humility, as demonstrated in the following verses…

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
[Philippians 2:5-8]
