Lately I have been getting the adaptive headlight warning light on my dashboard. After weighing my options of replacing the headlight control module (which can be had anywhere from $40-$500) or coding out the adaptive headlight function using NCS Expert for free. After doing about $20 minutes of research I was able to code out the adaptive feature and thereby removing the error code permanently from my dash. Now my headlights will not move with the steering wheel and will only stay pointed straight ahead. I never considered the adaptive headlights to be an important feature and this is the first car I have ever owned that is equipped with such a feature so they are not missed with me.
