Patricia sings "Letzte Rose" from "Martha", by Friedrich von Flotow.
"Martha", a suspiciously aristocratic-looking milkmaid, is asked to sing a folk song to prove her humble status.
"The Last Rose of Summer" is a poem written by Thomas Moore, later set to a traditional Irish air, "The Groves of Blarney". Von Flotow kept the tune and translated the poem into German.
