🔹 Ingredients: 4 Family Size or 16 Regular Tea bags 🍵
2 Cups Magic Baker's OR Sweetener of your choice 🍯 (THIS IS SUPER SWEET!) You could start with one cup and if you want to add more, boil enough water to cover the amount that you are adding, stir until it is dissolved and then add it to the rest of the tea.
1 Quart Water plus more to add later
Fresh lemon slices (optional) 🍋
1/4 t baking soda
Ice cubes ❄️
🔹 Steps:
Bring 1 qt water to a boil and add tea bags.
Cover and remove from heat.
Let steep for 1 hour.
Remove tea bags and very gently squeeze.
Don't squeeze hard or it will be bitter.
Add sweetener and baking soda and stir in to dissolve while the tea is hot. If it cools too much, heat slowly and add sweetener.
Pour into a half gallon jar and add water until it reaches the half gallon mark.
Gently shake to combine well.
Let it chill in the fridge for at least an hour or until you can't take it anymore. Serve over ice, add lemon if you want and enjoy!
