Jia Jia gave birth to a giant panda cub on 14 August 2021, after 7 years of trying. But this breeding journey started more than a decade ago. The panda care team at Wildlife Reserves Singapore embarked on preparations to increase chances of successful breeding, even before the pandas arrived in Singapore.
