The video series “Paradise Smallholders: The Quest for Sustainable Agriculture in the Cerrado” offers a brief and engaging portrayal of the history and daily life of a community of small farmers in the town of Alto Paraíso, Goiás, on their journey to achieve sustainable production in the Cerrado. Each of the four videos highlights a distinct theme, providing a comprehensive view of the different aspects involved:
1. Land history and future perspectives: explores the farmers' connection to their lands and their expectations for the future.
2. Challenges of Sustainable Production: analyses the difficulties faced in the quest for sustainable agricultural practices.
3. Rural Education: discusses rural education and its implications for community development.
4. Producers' Demands: presents the needs and aspirations of the farmers to improve their practices and living conditions.
The series is presented by the Trade, Development and the Environment Hub (TRADE Hub) project.
