Baby’s Busy Day, by Ann Harrell, is a book for little ones, as well as for parents, those reading it, and those caring for little ones.
Harrell’s creative way of incorporating milestones and tips onto each page is so beautiful and subtle.

The illustrations by Allison Valentine are simple and appropriate.

The author is especially helping parents of a baby under one years-old by offering them easy ways to increase a baby’s developmental milestones.

Here are the author’s milestones and tips:

✅My Tips:

Seeing your baby meet milestones is a natural joy. There are many checklists, books (like this one), and guides out there to assist parents in helping their child stay on track with developmental milestones.

Creating an environment for your baby to reach milestones does not require money, fancy toys, electronics or other gadgets.

It simply requires your eyes, hands, attention, time, love, common sense and wisdom.

The best gauge is your own heart. ❤️

You know your baby best. A parent, caregiver, or other close relative can celebrate milestones when baby reaches them. Sometimes, you may be concerned if a baby is missing a milestone— but be assured God’s timing in your baby’s milestones do not always align with “recommended” or “official developmental screenings,” and it is perfectly okay for babies to take extra time in any area of development. The best developmental plan for your baby is God’s plan. God created this infant with a full plan for his/her life. Trust God and the parental instincts He gave to you.
