I started my SIF journey on June 25, 2016 after a friend recruited me to be in their μ's Marine cosplay group. I knew little of Love Live aside from the fact that it was some type of "hell" and a major meme. Little did I know how much of my life for the next few years (and even still today) would revolve around this one mobile app. I have countless hours of content recorded and sitting on my HD of grinding, scouting, card management that will never see the light of day. And all that footage is but a small representation of the even larger amount of time, effort, and money that went into my account. This game holds a lot of memories - good and bad - so even though I quit a bit ago it's hard not to be emotional.

Speaking of recordings, I recorded a bunch of scouting/selling/buying over the past couple of days but I don't think anything is as meaningful to me as this three minute clip. I've kept the original copy of my Natsuiro Maki R card from the start of the game all this time - she's been with me literally since the beginning. And in a fit of poignancy with the game's close, I figured it's only right to end things with just her (and some hidden N girls because I can't have no functioning team lol) too. So after several grueling hours of unlocking (this was truly the worst part, how is there no mass action feature?!), idolizing, selling, buying, then reselling hundreds of cards, I was left with just my Maki and You collection. It was finally time to send them off and thank them for their hard work.

Love Live is clearly far from over but we will never experience that which is SIF 1 again. Thanks for all the irreplaceable memories and relationships formed, お疲れ様 でした. We'll all be waiting for the next live to start!
