Question:

2. A single phase overhead transmission line delivers 1 MW at 33 kV at 0.8 pf. lagging. The total resistance and inductive reatince of the line are 10 Ω and 20 Ω respective. Determine sending end voltage, line loss and transmission efficiency. [similar to example 10.1 V K Metha]

3. During a short circuit test on a transformer rated 500 kVA, 69/4.16 kV, 60 Hz, the following voltage, current, and power measurements were made:
Vsc = 2600V. Isc = 4A, Psc=2400W
calculate the value of the reactance and resistance of the transformer, ferrerd to the HV side.

4. What is the theoretical minimum system bandwidth needed for a 10-Mbit/sec signal using 16-level PAM without ISI? How large can the filter roll-off factor be if the allowable system bandwidth is 1.375 MHz?

5. In the following Op-Amp circuit, Vin is ± 3v, 5kHz square wave. Find the maximum current through 5 kΩ resistance. Also sketh variation of current wave with respect to time.
