In this video, we present an NDVI change detection analysis using Landsat 8 images from 2015 to 2020, conducted with the help of Google Earth Engine. NDVI stands for Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, which is a commonly used indicator of vegetation health and abundance. By analyzing changes in NDVI over time, we can gain insights into how vegetation has changed and possibly identify areas of land use change or environmental disturbance.

Next, we explain how the NDVI index is calculated from Landsat 8 imagery and how it can be used to identify changes in vegetation cover. We then walk through the steps involved in using Google Earth Engine to process the Landsat 8 imagery and generate NDVI change detection maps for the study area.
