We spent our vacation dispersed camping in San Juan National Forest.

We spent the first day settling into camp.

Saturday morning we drove up Bolam Pass where we did some adventure photography of our friends that joined us for the first weekend.

On our second full day we drove Old Lime Creek Road until we met the creek at the same elevation from the north entrance. On Monday a majority of other campers left and we tried fly fishing Hermosa Creek.

Tuesday we changed camps and headed to the Lime Creek Road south access. Unfortunately we were unable to locate a dispersed site and from previous experience knew the road was not passable beyond this point with the trailer. Thankfully we located a site just off Cascade Creek just across the road. We spent the last few days at this dispersed site.

On our way home we tried out geocaching and had a great time finding a few caches. We had a bit of a delay due to flash floods across 89 just outside Flagstaff. We found our last cache and had an uneventful trip the rest of the way to Phoenix.
