Sources Say is back with its seventh episode!

This time, we visited Prof. HC Verma, an experimental physicist and emeritus professor at IIT-Kanpur. Prof Verma's books such as 'Concepts of Physics' are immensely popular among students of science.

From the faults in the education system to what he has been doing post-retirement, Prof Verma speaks candidly to Swarajya's Associate Editor Sharan Setty. This episode was recorded in Kanpur, at Sopan Ashram, which serves as an education-centre for the underprivileged children.

For his contribution to the filed of nuclear physics, Prof Verma was awarded the Padma Shri in 2021 by the Government of India.
