A few weeks ago, I drove down to Santa Cruz California to pick up my new mountain bike, the 2022 Santa Cruz Bronson MX in Paydirt Gold size Large. It was very cool to have the opportunity o purchase a Santa Cruz Bicycle in it's ancestral homeland, only a few miles from the factory where it was made! Thanks to the awesome staff at ABS Bike Shop in Santa Cruz for helping me choose the right size and test ride a few mountain bikes before pulling the trigger on the new Bronson. They unfortunately, didn't have the size and build that I wanted in stock. So, I drove down the coast a bit to Bike Works in Half Moon Bay. The shop was small and quaint and overall, it was a great bike purchase experience.
Once I had my bike, I wasted no time before heading to the trails. I couldn't wait to shred some of my local northern California trails and get this bike dirty. The performance and feel of this bike far exceeded my expectations and I had a ton of fun riding and filming this video.
