The team of the producer, author of the historical series "Secrets of Great Ukrainians" and "Ukraine. Return of its history "on TV channel 1 + 1 Akim Galimov launches a project called" Ukrainian palaces. Golden Age. In a documentary series of 8 series with the help of historians, architects of 3D reconstructions and VFX specialists, 8 completely or partially destroyed Ukrainian palaces will be recreated. The premiere of the first episode will take place on April 29 at 19:00. The project will be broadcast on 1 + 1 video and the official YouTube channel 1+1 every Friday at 19:00.

The protagonist of each episode will be a historical figure, the owner of a destroyed, looted or rebuilt in the 20th century palace.

"Each story of the owner of the palace is an example of how different people made a great contribution to the development of Ukrainian territories and contributed to the formation of Ukraine's image in Europe and the world. Unfortunately, most of these monuments were destroyed by Russians. The authorities are still claiming our historical and cultural heritage and destroying everything valuable that Ukrainians have. "But now the project has taken on a deeper meaning. It shows that we will restore and rebuild everything, no matter how much we want to be destroyed, we will win! We have an incredible past and an even cooler future," said producer and project manager Akim Galimov.

In the cycle "Ukrainian palaces. Golden Age "viewers will learn the stories of 8 Ukrainian palaces and their owners: public and cultural figure Vasyl Tarnovsky and his palace in Kachanivka, Chernihiv region, which housed a museum room with the world's largest collection of Ukrainian antiquities, and Leopold Koenig - sugar owner who owned palace in Sharivka, Kharkiv region. The series will tell about the palace of businessman Józef Potocki in Antoniny, Khmelnytsky region, where purebred horses were bred, exotic hunts were organized, their own resort was built and even a zoo with a lion was set up. Viewers will see the history of the estate in Skole, Lviv region, built by brothers Herman, Bernhard and Albert Gredley. The Gredley family owned an international timber processing and sales company and became famous in Europe as suppliers of parquet for Buckingham Palace.

The Falz-Fein family of farmers set aside 30,000 hectares from their land bank to create the Askania Nova Nature Reserve, and their palace in Gavrilovka, Kherson Oblast, was so magnificent that its central hall was adorned with a large aquarium. The documentary series will tell the story of the palace in Kurisovo, Odessa region, built in the neo-Moorish style, the castle-palace in Zhovkva Hetman and voivode Stanislav Zholkevsky, built on advanced technologies of the time, and the palace in Izyaslav Khmelnytsky region, owned by Barbara Sanguga.

In 2021, the project won the PITCH UA 3 socially important content competition, organized by Media Resources Management (MRM) with the support of the Transformation Communications Activity Project (TCA) and the US Agency-funded UCBI. Development Agency (USAID) and with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
