Sarah Farrell Johnson is a teacher in the Bethlehem Area School District and doctoral student in the PhD for Teaching Learning, and Technology. She received her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a certification in ESL from Moravian College, and her Bachelor’s of Secondary Education and French from Bloomsburg University. Sarah recently earned a certificate in Spirituality, Health, and Healing from Harvard Extension School, and attends a teacher cohort at Columbia University’s Spirituality Mind Body Institute. Sarah’s heart lives in her hometown of Bethlehem, but her residence is currently in the Poconos until the pandemic housing market shapes up. She is a passionate and busy mom of two who loves to learn, sing and hike. Her research interests and passions include understanding more about secular spirituality and how it can better individuals and public schools.
