In this video you will see how we installed our retractable shower door from RecPro. This is a very easy install and can be done in less than 1 hour. I tried to edit and shorten the video and dive right in to the meat and potatoes of the install.

Prep the surface with alcohol, attach the left and right side track pieces. These are interchangeable depending on which way you want the door to open and close. You secure them with the 3M tape provided; however we added a few screws for added security. After that you will measure the space between the side tracks at the top and bottom and make cuts accordingly. These pieces slide into the side tracks. Added tip… measure both top and bottom space in case your area isn’t exactly square. Once those pieces have been cut to fit; insert them in the guides on the side tracks make sure that the little plastic piece that looks like an “8” on the vinyl door slide into these upper and lower pieces as your installing. These are the guides for the door itself when opening and closing. Final step will be a bead of waterproof caulk to create a barrier of protection for the 3M tape and ensure no water leaks out along the side and bottom tracks.
