PlayStation First Party Developer Media Molecule are working on a new game and there's at least a chance it might be LittleBigPlanet 4.

Dreams PS4 development is finally coming to an end - Media Molecule has confirmed Dreams will not get PS5, PC or even PSVR2 functionality - possibly paving the way for LittleBigPlanet 4.

In recent years Sumo Digital took over the LittleBigPlanet franchise developing games such as LittleBigPlanet 3 and Sackboy: A Big Adventure in 2020. Despite this both the Sackboy and LittleBigPlanet IP still belongs to Sony Playstation.

Fans of the LittleBigPlanet series have been begging for a sequel for years and many believe only Media Molecule has the necessary secret sauce. In 2021 the servers for LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS3) and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita were shut down permanently leaving the PS4 and PS5 versions of LittleBigPlanet 3 as the only way to access LittleBigPlanets massive catalogue of user-generated content.

Media Molecule has had a number of people leave the studio over the last few weeks including founders Mark Healey and Kareem Ettouney as well as Director of Live Service Abbie Heppe and Senior Producer Suzy Wallace who is joining another Sony Playstation First Party Studio Firesprite.
