Update: DO NOT drill the knife metal like I did in the video! Clamp down the material to avoid it catching on the drill and spinning. Thanks for the comments that pointed this out and all the praise as well! I am learning too!
This is my first knife I have made. I decided to make a Japanese style utility knife. It was a fun project and took about 20+ hours. I use it for the kitchen and as a utility knife when camping.
You can do it yourself with basic tools. It just takes lots of time!
Wood used: Some kind of Zebra wood (cant remember exact name).
1084 - 5/32" Steel (easy to heat treat at home).
