How often to you get to hear a pre-war Martin OM-18 and OM-28 back to back? The OM-18 in this video is a 1933 model; and it's compared to a 1934 000-28 built with a long scale (so, essentially ... and OM-28). Both of these guitars have been beautifully set up by TJ Thompson; and we'd consider each an excellent sounding example of its respective model designation.

Which one do you like better? Sound off in the comments!

The microphones used to record the guitars are Samar Audio condensers: a TF10 on the body and an MG20 on the fretboard. We're running them into a ‪@UniversalAudio‬ "Volt" interface, with no other EQ or effects.
