We are testing for Toxoplasmosis as part of an ongoing programme to see if the reduction in feral cats through pest control has decreased the toxoplasmosis incidence in sheep.
Toxoplasmosis in sheep has a huge effect on the farmers economy as can cause ewes to abort and can also damage them for any future lambing.
