Taki is a beautiful tourist destination near Kolkata. Taki is the border area of India Bangladesh. Taki is popular for its rich culture and ichamati river. People can ride boat here on ichamati river. The river ichamati is treated as no mans land between India Bangladesh.

Places to visit:
Taki Mini Sundarban or Taki Golpotar Jungle: This is a small jungle of mangrove trees. There is a concrete path goes through it. One will enjoy walking through this path.

Taki Roy Chowdhury House: This is a old house of Roy Chowdhury family.

Taki Rajbari Ghat : This is situated beside river ichamati. One can take boat ride on ichamati from here.

Ichamati River : Most iconic place of taki. This river is treated as no mans land between India and Bangladesh. Taki is ideal place to watch immersion of lord durga during dussera.

Other places to visit Taki :
Jora shiva temple taki, Taki Mansingha Road, Taki eco tourism park, Taki jamindar bari.
