आत्मिक र वैवाहिक जीवनमा पति-पत्नीले निर्वाह गर्नुपर्ने समान भूमिका हुन्छ । उनीहरू दुवै जना एकअर्का प्रति जिम्मेवारी हुनुपर्छ । नयाँ करारमा भएको एउटा घटनामा पति र पत्नी दुवैले पवित्र आत्मालाई ढाँट्ने निर्णय गरेको उल्लेख गरिएको छ । उनीहरुले एक-अर्कालाई त्यो पाप गर्न देखि बचाउन सक्थे, तर त्यसो गरेनन् । परिणाम स्वरूप, दुवैजनाको भयानक रूपमा मृत्यु भयो । हामी पनि एक-अर्कालाई परमेश्वरको भयमा हिँड्न प्रेरणा दिने श्रीमान् अथवा श्रीमती हुनुपर्छ ।

Husband and Wife have equal roles to play in Spiritual and Marital life. They both have to be responsible towards each other. One instance in the New Testament mentions of a husband and a wife deciding to lie to the Holy Spirit. Both of them could have stopped each other from sinning, but they didn't do that. As a result, both died a terrible death. We too have to inspire our partner to walk in the fear of God.
