This video shows how to make poosanikai mor kulambu, a best Kuzhambu recipe for this summer season.
White pumpkin mor Kuzhambu / mor kulambu is a well known recipe. Mor kulambu / mor Kuzhambu can be prepared in different methods.
Here we will see simple method of Mor kulambu / mor Kuzhambu making using poosanikai.
We should eat watery vegetables like white pumpkin, bottle gourd and chow chow at this summer season.

METHOD:
Cook the white pumpkin.
Dry roast a spoon of toor dal, coriander seeds and half a spoon of raw rice.
Roast some green chillies in oil. Grind the roasted ingredients with a handful of grated coconut.
Grind it as nice paste. Add the ground paste in thick curd.
Then add turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt. Mix it well. Don't add water.
For tempering add mustard, urad dal, cumin, dry chilly and curry leaves.
Add the masala curd to it. Then add the cooked pumpkin.
Allow it to boil for few seconds.
(We have roasted all the ingredients, so don't over cook the Mor Kuzhambu)

Now our tasty Mor kulambu / mor Kuzhambu is ready for serving.
