A once Steam town owned engine, this little 0-4-0 has been around for a good time. Built in 1902 with a construction number of 2601, #1 has 45 inch drivers with a weight of 90,000 lbs (40823.313 Kg), a tractive effort of 17,340 lbs (7865.2917 Kg) and a boiler pressure up to 170 lbs. #1 worked for the US Army between 1917-1920, and after its service it went to work for the Worcester County Electric Co. in Massachusetts. Now privately owned, it sits outside in Oaks, Pennsylvania right along the Harrisburg line. Although the tracks it sits on is abandoned, the little engine waits for a day it could be restored along with the rest of the fleet.
