Day 8 we continued north from Spitzkoppe reaching Brandberg just before sunset. Patrol had tyre damage but we managed to find a new rubber in Uis.

Day 9 we searched for Elephants in the Ugab River but did not expect to spend most of our day recovering vehicles from thick sand tracks. Patrol got bogged twice and so did the Cruiser. Both vehicles weigh around 3.5 tons plus towing around 1.4 tons. It's fun but added an additional 7 hours to our trip.

It's what we love and creates memories that will always get airtime around the camp fire.
