For many OCD strugglers, it can be evident that underneath all the constant obsessions and compulsions is a underlying depression that never gets addressed and nurtured. OCD is fueled by perfectionism and quite often, perfectionists have a depression that they try to "fix" by making sure their thoughts and actions are "just right," yet they never find deeper peace and love in their hearts.

Today I want to address a question that came in on depression, but also provide some insight on how to approach struggles with depression in a kind, patient and effective way.
