Join me as I walk through the colorful streets of Colombia's friendliest town, Salento. Located in the stunning Cocora Valley.

Salento is surrounded by coffee plantations and lush mountainsides. Not only is Salento beautiful, but the people here are also known for their hospitality and kindness and love sharing their culture and traditions with visitors.

Our journey starts in the town's main square, then we make our way to the main street of Calle Real. You'll see the cafes and restaurants in Salento that offer delicious local cuisine and the many shops selling a large variety of crafts from the local artisans.

As we make our way to the Alto de la Cruz to watch the sunset over the town and the breathtaking landscape, you will see how truly friendly and welcoming the people of Salento are.

Our journey ends with a climb to the top of a small hill overlooking the town. Navigating the steep stairs to the top takes about 5 minutes and will get your heart pounding. But it is worth it. The views at the top are spectacular.
