In this video, I showed how I use a Sashiko thimble for a running stitch. I tried not to focus too much on Sashiko as I use this stitching style for slow-stitching and other free-style stitching projects.

I’d like to add that I move my right hand more when I stitch on thick layers of fabric so that the needle properly reaches to the back of all layers.
When I stitch Sashiko Hanahukin, making sure that the stitches are clearly visible on the reverse side makes a big difference in the result.
So I adjust my hand movement depending on the project.

The last large piece, I used 3 strands of an embroidery floss for all the stitches. The fabric I used for it is DITTE from IKEA (it's not particularly loosely woven though).
