The house in Ubatuba holds significant coastal city status within the state of São Paulo. This House, created by spbr arquitetos, serves as both a permanent residence for the couple and a retreat for their children. It not only blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings but also appears to float among the treetops. By constructing a bridge that connects the street to the main entrance, the design offers stunning views of the sea and hills through the lush foliage.

Situated at the furthest point of Tenório's Beach, this ground plot measures 55m x 16m and is flanked by the ocean on one side. It ascends a steep 50% incline before reaching street level at 28 meters.

Adhering to environmental regulations, the project draws its inspiration from the challenging terrain and the protected trees that adorn the steep hill.

The house is supported by three reinforced concrete columns, which are constructed using sliding forms. These columns have four steel beams on top, serving the purpose of hanging the slabs and eliminating the need for support frames during construction, thus increasing speed and efficiency. The thin and beamless slabs are arranged in a way that ensures breathtaking sea views from every room in the house.

The main entrance to the house is unconventional, as it is located on top of the terrace at street level. A bridge connects the street to the main entrance, providing various scenic views of the sea, hill, and trees. This unique design allows the house to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape, almost appearing to float among the trees. As a result, the house is constantly immersed in the sights, sounds, and scents of nature.
