ATTENTION SONY FANS: Who wants to become a Sony Advocate like me? With Sony's approval, I am officially inviting anyone who has a passion for Sony to join the Sony Community Forum/Sony Advocate Program!

So, first off, what is the Sony Advocate Program?

 It is a group of about 30+ Sony Community Forum members who would like to assist us and more importantly other members get support on their products . Share your expertise in the Sony products that you already owned, your thoughts on Sony products both past, present, and future, how best to use the Sony products in your own home, and other general helpful tips that every Sony customer who goes on the forum might find helpful.

 What is our task as a member of this Advocate Program?

 We would love for you to log-in to the community when you have some free time to provide help or support to other community members in their category of interest. What if you’re not really that techy? That’s fine; you can also create posts regarding Sony products that you own and highlight your favorite features or use cases that allow you to get the best out of your product (I.E. TV, Headphones etc.). Please know that this is not a direct request to go on a certain time, or do this every single day for x amount of hours. It really just comes down to when you have free time and you feel like you can help people.

 Recognition System on the Community Forum:

 As you log in to the community, you can see in your profile an area where you can come up with a nickname to identify yourself. Once you become more active by performing any type of activity you will start earning points. The number of points you earn determines your reputation rank in the Community. You gain points just by doing something on the forum. Any activity that you do on the forum will earn you points over time. Generally, the most active people have the highest praise.

 Why is Sony Management bringing this recognition system up?

The reason why Sony Management is bringing up this recognition system is because every month we will send out email communication to all the advocates in this group and share an activity level report. This is just to show who among our advocates are gaining the most points. By doing this, we are just trying to make it fun and also nice to see who among us are most active on the forum and be able to congratulate them.

What to expect from us:

As part of this group of advocates, we like to run sweepstakes to help make things fun, engaging, and rewarding for spending some of your free time to help the community forum. We look forward to connecting with you via email at least once a month!
