My wildlife adventures continue in the Outer Hebrides on North Uist. This video condenses my fourth full day in the Outer Hebrides, exploring the roads, and finding wildlife to photograph.

What an amazing start to the day, superb sunrise, not a cloud in the sky with low lying mist making for some stunning landscape images. I was greeted as always by the deer feeding around the cottage and a cheeky little rabbit.

Today’s highlight was 5 dotterel in Baleshare – what beautiful little birds. Once again the day had no shortage of Short Eared Owls all over the island. Sightings of Meadow Pipit, Linnet, Twite, Wheatear, Oyster Catcher, Curlew and / or Whimbrel (happy to be advised in the comments below if you know). Yet again I was blessed with glorious weather and another amazing sunset topped off with a clear sky, a bit of astro photography and shooting stars. What’s not to like about this place – simply stunning !

This video collates highlights caught throughout the day with the following equipment : Road videos - Gopro Max / Wildlife videos - Nikon D500 / Nikkor 200 – 500 f5.6 lens / Photographs of wildlife Nikon D500 & Nikkor 200 – 500 f5.6 lens / Landscape images - Nikon D750 & 24-70 f2.8 lens. I hope you enjoy traveling round the islands with me on day 4 and watching the wildlife video clips.
