The #1 ranked Cincinnati Bearcats basketball team faced off against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Great Eight Tournament (Dec 8th, 1999). The Bearcats led by Kenny Satterfield, Kenyon Martin, and Pete Mickeal were able to fend off the Tar Heels and win 77-68.
