Fishing for Walleye and travelling down and then back up a Northern river during Ontario's fire-ban. Beautiful, hot weather and refreshing water.

This trip takes place on the Sturgeon River in Temagami using the Gervais Landing access point starting from Portelance Road near Capreol. I travel down to fish Kettle Falls before heading back up-river to the next leg of the journey.

The next episode will feature upstream travel on a rarely accessed creek. It is a tough slog.
