The Tanda de Valse (the shifting of waltzes) was the master composition of Silaynon composer and conductor Jose "Pitong" Ledesma. Originally created for a past love, the musical masterpiece was given life through dance by Medy Locsin. In the past, it was common practice in Silay that the Tanda de Valse be performed to open important events - it is something uniquely Silay.
