Do you also get overexposed Sims when trying to Create A New Family in The Sims 2? I did, and I found the solution to be easier than I expected... *UPDATE*: Lazy Duchess, The Sims 2 community's 2021 lord and saviour has just released a mod that fixes this issue as well as the brightness you get with random CAS cc objects. You can download the mod here: https://lazyduchess.tumblr.com/post/6...
If you use this mod, you don't need to turn on shaders, unless of course you also wanna get the other benefits of shaders. But if you only use shaders, some cc objects might still look off in CAS. So to get the best effect, use both!
